Enhance Your Safety at Sea with Advanced Technology

Real-time Maritime Safety

The Live Tracking app, developed in collaboration between the EmergenSea network and Morgan Code studio, represents a revolution in maritime safety. This app enables the experienced EmergenSea network team to track vessels in real time. Thanks to GPS technology, the EmergenSea team can monitor the movement of its members at any moment and obtain precise information on speed and course, allowing them to alert their members of potential hazards along their route and position at any given time.

Real-time Hazard Alerts

The Live Tracking app sends users real-time alerts about potential sea hazards. The app identifies navigational obstacles such as reefs, narrow channels, wrecks, bridge heights, and adverse weather conditions. This feature allows for automatic and timely responses to unexpected conditions, significantly reducing the risk of accidents, especially in unfamiliar waters or during poor weather conditions.

Quick Response in Emergencies

One of the key advantages of the Live Tracking app is the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. In the event of an engine failure, grounding, or other urgent problems, users can instantly send a predefined call to the EmergenSea network. At that moment, the on-duty team selects the best option for their member and acts accordingly. The app allows users to send an SOS signal (even when there is no mobile signal) with precise GPS coordinates and the nature of the emergency, significantly shortening response times and ensuring faster assistance.

User-friendly Interface and Experience

The Live Tracking app comes with a simple interface tailored to users of varying technical skill levels. Designed for use on mobile devices and tablets, it provides intuitive access to easy-to-use functions. Whether you are an experienced sailor or a beginner, the app helps you navigate more safely, with less stress and more confidence.

Integration with the EmergenSea System

The integration with the EmergenSea network provides users with an additional layer of safety. Whether it's technical assistance, boat towing, or information on safety protocols, everything is available through the app. Only EmergenSea members have access to the app’s exclusive features, including free towing services and rapid assistance in case of an accident, while basic functions are available to everyone else.

New Version for the 2025 Season

We are proud to announce that the next version of the Live Tracking app will bring several new functionalities, including:

  • Nearest fuel station (automatic guidance to the closest station)
  • Where is your rescue boat (rescue boat in transit shown on the map)
  • e-Skipper’s Logbook (our printed version now in electronic form)
  • Electronic membership cards in the owner’s profile (contributing to ecology and practicality)

Conclusion

The Live Tracking app is an essential tool for every boat owner seeking safe and worry-free navigation. With real-time tracking, hazard alerts, weather warnings, and quick responses in emergency situations, this app is a key tool for modern, automated navigation.

More than 20 years ago, Alimar released the Skipper’s Logbook in print, a unique document that served boat owners as an optional tool for recording the condition of their vessels, navigation details, engine status, and fluid levels. At the end of the journey, this logbook became a cherished memory of time spent at sea, reminding boat owners of every sailing adventure.
